The Communications Director will be responsible for helping shape and implement values-inspired messaging among Michigan house campaigns. The ideal candidate will be high energy, outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to work long hours. She or he must also be a strong writer with an eye for detail and style. The communications director will also need to be an effective relationship builder and coach – training candidates and campaign staff to be more effective delivering their campaign messaging. The Finance Director will direct all caucus fundraising, including oversight of all caucus accounts, budget management, and individual fundraising for House members. She or he will also assist with compliance and will be expected to develop a strong knowledge of Michigan campaign finance laws and the political landscape in Michigan. The position will report to the Executive Director and will manage the Compliance and Operations Director and two Finance Associates. This position is based in Lansing, MI. Read more and apply here
During this selective 12-week paid fellowship program, finance fellows will learn and engage in cutting-edge political strategies. This program is designed to test, train, and develop a new class of Michigan campaign operatives and help to expand our campaign efforts across the state.
